Unspoken

It’s too early to feel
So neglected
The taste of what we’ve had
Has clearly messed with my head
Because I do
There’s no excuse
For letting you make me blue
I’m too far gone to keep
Feigning I don’t care
Oh, I’m in too deep
And now you’ve changed
You feel estranged
Maybe I was a fool
I didn’t care
Once I was the object
Of your precious stare

Pulse (Violet)

In this silent moment
Time flows
The rate creates friction
With the input from our senses
And the vibration caresses us both
Our unexplainable sense of oneness flutters, fluctuates
Harmonically interacting with our surroundings
All merging into one
No music or sound can amplify this moment
The intensity at its peak
Giving no room to doubt or to think
No action or distraction beyond involuntary appreciation
A moment that contains meaning
Which points directly to what art tries to recreate
Beautifully in vain
And through its deafening silence
I understand poetry for the first time
And it’s not the alcohol or the drugs
Or anything else you might try to “blame”
For my rare spoken-out-loud train of thoughts
That has again and again crushed our conversations
It is just you
The one drug
I am helplessly addicted to

Your shirt falls first
On the quiet parquet
My fingers move
Slowly, from button to button
Like picking berries ripe
My hand is drifting down
Along your breastbone tender
Along the furtive shadows
Drawn by my southern window
We will be cautious
For we know
The verb to love
Contains already
A beginning,
An end

Time Killer
09:16
|
|
||
Drenched in gray
The world is drained
Of all the prism colors
Skeleton trees lost their dance
I sink, does all else sail forward?
You time killer
Always dusk
The sky eternally setting
Hide in sleep
Hope to be
Free of this crux
These ghosts that shake me
Loudest silence I have heard
I've not forgotten color
Drained of heart and of blood
My life’s not mine nor my mother’s
You time killer
I sink, I sink
I sink, I sink
Does all else sail forward?

Diamond of a boy
Docile and wide eyed
And small in size
Stay warm
Tranquil a hymn of vermillion
Prince minikid
I feed you water and seed from my lips
Sleeps through the day
Drunk on the fruit of symmetry
Sleep in my hair, a nest, your labyrinth
Lapse of myth
I found a babe to keep warm and safe

Broken
03:16
|
|
||
Never did you bother to
Write me, see me, call me
Always you were trying to hurt me
Never said you’re sorry
Wouldn’t make an effort to
Love me, tell me, touch me
Left me in my bedroom crying
All for nothing
Broken
Broken
All hearts are broken in time
Wonder what will i have to do
To fix mine
Thought that i would never get over
Your love, your eyes
Leaving me without any remorse
Or goodbyes
Now you know i’m loved by someone
And you can’t have me
Knowing you can't sleep and you’re hurting
Makes me happy
All hearts are
Broken
Broken

The Line
05:34
|
|
||
I’m frustrated
Won’t you talk to me
Don’t cut the line
And leave me here
Confused
I don’t know what you want
I don’t know what is hiding in
Your words
Won’t you talk to me
Too many colors
In flurry
From continuous tirade streams
That can’t be deciphered
That fall furious from the sky, then
Disappear
Disappear
I miss the water of the pacific
Salt in the air
I feel it on my skin
The tide pulls
All things with her
What can she give back to me
Fight it if you can
Don’t let it take you from me
Not like this
I don't know why you're doing this
You don't either
but I can't stop you
Don't cut the line
Don't cut the line
Don't cut the line
